Step Up to the Plate This Summer
Most volunteers serve in November, while most donors give in December. For our guests, the need for groceries persists in January, February, and every month after. Every season is grocery season.
Every gift you give through the Day of Giving will be matched toward our $50,000 goal. Every $1 you give already produces $4 worth of groceries. With our match, that becomes $8 worth of fresh produce, quality proteins, dairy products, and personal care products. Your generosity today doubles the meals and doubles the care we provide for our neighbors in need.
WHAT YOU MAKE POSSIBLE: Your generosity fills the pantry for Somerset County families. In 2025, the Feeding Hands community accomplished the following.
- $3.4 million worth of groceries and essentials delivered.
- 52,034 individuals served, a 21% increase from 2024.
- $68 produced an average of $272 worth of groceries per family, per visit.
- 97% of every donated dollar went directly to the food program.
ONE GUEST WHO FELT FEEDING HANDS' CARE: A gentleman arrived at our Warren pantry for the first time after his sister registered him. Tears of embarrassment and hopelessness streamed down his face; he had never imagined he would need help. He nearly walked away for good, but how our volunteers treated him gave him the courage to return. On his second visit, he shared his story with a volunteer. Not only did we give him groceries, but our volunteers gave him the strength to keep going. That is the Feeding Hands difference.

Every week, our guests walk through our doors and leave with a full cart of fresh food and essentials, served by volunteers who treat every guest with care and dignity.
