It happened unexpectedly and with little warning.

Feeding Hands Pantry was caught in the teeth of Hurricane Ida and by the time the clouds cleared over the pantry's main distribution center, the Raritan River had infiltrated the doors of the pantry rising to almost six feet deep. The damage was devastating. Over $100,000 of food, cleaning products, and personal care items were lost. Ten freezers and refrigerators were damaged beyond repair. All office furniture and equipment were ruined. Seven years of item accumulated to aid the community were destroyed. Our satellite location in Manville was also under seven feet of water.

Our mission is to be there for those many families that are still in desperate need of assistance. We must not only replace our losses, but establish permanent distribution locations close to those who are most in need. We need your help. A generous donor has offered to match all donation up to $50,000 now through the month of November to support our relocation. Won't you please consider a contribution to Feeding Hands and partner with us to continue our mission to provide for those in need..with Empathy, Connection, and Stewardship...serving even in the face of tremendous adversity.

IF YOU PREFER TO DONATE VIA CHECK, PLEASE MAKE IT OUT TO FEEDING HANDS.
